Conference club Darlington may be saved from going into liquidation this afternoon.
The Quakers, who entered administration for the third time last week, looked to be heading for extinction on Monday when their manager and entire playing staff was made redundant.
However, a rescue group are believed to have offered the administrator a sum of £50,000.
That money will keep the club running until the end of the month, while they continue to search for an investor.
During that time, Darlington will play Fleetwood Town, York City and Hayes & Yeading.
