Former England manager Sven-Goran Eriksson has joined the coaching staff of German second division side 1860 Munich.
The Swede has not taken over from manager Alexander Schmidt, but instead will act as an advisor to the 44-year-old.
"He is a coach of the world. We now have to try to use his wealth of experience for our benefit," 1860's chief executive Robert Schafer told the club's official website.
1860 will be Eriksson's 16th job in football and his seventh since he left his role with the Three Lions after the 2006 World Cup.
