FIFA have selected GoalControl to install their goal-line technology system at the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
The governing body confirmed last month that technology would be used for the first time when football's biggest tournament takes place next year.
Having considered three bids, it has now been decided that German company GoalControl, whose system uses 14 high-speed cameras around the pitch, should be given the responsibility.
It will first be trialled at the FIFA Confederations Cup later this year.
