Fleetwood Town have been promoted to the Football League for the first time in the club's history after Wrexham could only draw 2-2 with Grimsby Town.
Wrexham needed to win to prevent Fleetwood securing top spot in the Conference following the Trawlermen's 2-2 draw with Lincoln City yesterday, but the Welsh side were unable to get all three points.
Manager Micky Mellon's men have amassed 103 points so far this season with two games left to play.
The current Fleetwood Town was founded in 1997 and is the third incarnation of the club, which was first formed in 1908.
