Andy Carroll’s former agent Peter Harrison has said that he will reveal the names of “two big-name managers” in a TV documentary.
Harrison, who spent 20 years as a football agent, has claimed that he earned £900,000 in a day for completing the transfer of a Premier League player and that footballers are regularly tapped up from clubs, according to the Daily Mail.
“I'm doing this in the interests of the game - people take their kids to matches, they buy the shirts, the season tickets and the TV subscription,” Harrison has been quoted as saying.
“There are so many dreams, but they should also know there are a few agents getting away with murder. They break the rules time and again.
“I'm sorry it's come to this but I'm going to bring down two big-name managers and they know who they are. I'm doing a TV documentary and I'm exposing everything that went on.”
Harrison has represented a number of professionals including Liverpool striker Carroll and former Chelsea forward Eidur Gudjohnsen.
