Guus Hiddink has confirmed his interest in becoming the new manager of Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala.
The veteran boss has been out of work since quitting as coach of the Turkish national team last week.
The 65-year-old has insisted that he will take time to decide on his future, but admits that a move to Anzhi intrigues him.
"I am taking my time before I make a decision. My Russian contacts have informed me about Anzhi. It's a very prestigious project they have going on. I'm interested in it because it's about much more than football," Hiddink told RT.
"The project is also quite beneficial to the area, where the people are living in poverty. It's a great thing when you can do something for the community other than football."
Hiddink previously coached the Russian national team up until 2010.
