Queens Park Rangers manager Mark Hughes was left delighted with Djibril Cisse's contribution in their 2-2 draw with Aston Villa at Villa Park.
The striker netted 12 minutes into his debut following Tuesday's move from Lazio.
"We're delighted that he has such an instant impact so early in his QPR career," said Hughes. "You saw his quality tonight in tight areas, where he was able to use his pace and power and that will be effective for us in the course of the season."
The draw has seen the R's move up to 16th in the Premier League table.
