Former Swansea City attacker Michu has retired from professional football at the age of 31 after a long injury battle.
Michu joined Swansea in a £2m deal from Rayo Vallecano in 2012, and the forward scored 22 times during his first season with the Welsh club, which led to suggestions of interest from Arsenal.
The one-cap Spain international spent the 2014-15 season on loan with Italian side Napoli as he looked to overcome a recurring ankle problem, but he was eventually forced to drop into Spain's fourth tier with Langreo.
Michu scored one league goal for Segunda Division side Oviedo last season, but injury problems have forced the Spaniard to retire, and according to reports in Spain, the 31-year-old is now considering pursuing a coaching career.
Michu, who helped Swansea land the League Cup during his time at the Liberty Stadium, ends his professional career with a record of 100 goals in 387 appearances in all competitions.
