Vanishing spray will not make an appearance in the Premier League next season despite it being considered a success in the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil.

The Premier League and Football Association are monitoring how effective the spray is even though it has been successful in Brazilian and Argentine leagues in previous seasons.

Despite the spray waiting on being introduced to the Premier League, it will makes its debut in the Champions League as of next season.

The spray, which evaporates roughly a minute after being used, has been used in an attempt to stop cheating defenders from gaining an advantage at free-kicks by getting closer to the ball.
