Andy King has left Northampton Town following the appointment of Chris Wilder as the club's new manager.
King was in temporary charge of the Cobblers for over a month after the sacking of Aidy Boothroyd, but has decided to leave with Wilder now in place.
"We are disappointed that Andy has chosen to leave but we wish him well," said chairman David Cardoza.
"He did a very good job in difficult circumstances over the last few weeks, and he conducted himself with great dignity and in good humour."
Northampton are bottom of the Football League, six points adrift of safety in League Two.
