Northampton Town have signed former Yeovil Town striker Sam Hoskins on a one-year contract.
The 22-year-old had been training with the League Two club after being released by the Glovers earlier this summer.
Hoskins spent part of last season on loan at Barnet, scoring two goals in six appearances.
"He'll not shirk the physical challenge," manager Chris Wilder told Northampton's official website. "He is bright, he is enthusiastic and he has got a bit of pace. He has good movement and good ability and for a young player he knows where the back of the net is."
Northampton start the new season with a trip to Bristol Rovers on August 8.
