Norwich City have announced that captain Russell Martin has signed a new three-year contract at Carrow Road.
The 29-year-old defender, who joined the Canaries permanently following a loan spell in 2010, has made 222 appearances in all competitions so far.
The total is the second highest behind Wes Hoolahan in the current Norwich squad, who are fighting for promotion to the Premier League.
"I'm absolutely delighted," Martin told the club's official website. "The club means a lot to me and to my family, who are as pleased as I am about signing a new contract. We'll have another three good years here in Norfolk and hopefully more beyond that.
"It's been brilliant ever since the new manager came in, and now we're in the position we want to be. It's now up to us to make sure that we stay there. I'm really excited about it.
"I seriously believe we'll be in the Premier League next season, but even if we're not I love playing for this football club and I want to be at this football club."
Norwich are currently second in the Championship table, just one point behind leaders Bournemouth.
