Danny Collins has revealed that he is delighted to have been given the opportunity to join Nottingham Forest.
The 31-year-old defender put pen to paper on a three-year deal from Stoke City on Thursday.
"I've liked everything the manager (Sean O'Driscoll) has told me. He's a quiet man but clearly has great ambition and I'm delighted to have been given a chance to be a part of what he wants to achieve," the Welshman told Forest's official website.
Collins is the second new face at the City Ground this week following the capture of Wolverhampton Wanderers midfielder Adlene Guedioura on Tuesday.
