Nottingham Forest boss Billy Davies has been charged by the Football Association for improper conduct.
The charge relates to Davies's "language and/or behaviour" at the end of his side's 2-1 defeat to Wigan Athletic in the Championship on August 31.
The Scot has until 6pm on Friday to respond to the charge.
Forest return to league action on September 14 when they welcome Barnsley to the City Ground.
