Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Reid is expected to undergo minor surgery on a hernia problem and could reportedly be out of action for up to a month.
The 31-year-old missed Forest's 3-1 defeat at Burnley on Saturday with a calf problem that will keep him out for a couple of weeks.
According to the Nottingham Post, Forest will let Reid have surgery on a hernia while he is recovering from the calf problem, equalling a total time out of around three weeks to one month.
Reid has been one of Forest's top performers this season, scoring nine goals in 30 league appearances for the club.
