Nottingham Forest are set to be without the services of midfielder Ryan Yates for the trip to Everton in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
The combative 27-year-old picked up his fifth yellow card of the campaign during the one-goal success over Tottenham Hotspur at the City Ground on Boxing Day.
Consequently, Nuno Espirito Santo will be forced into at least one change for the match at Goodison Park, where Elliot Anderson will require a new partner at the base of midfield.
The Tricky Trees' options in the middle of the park are reduced further by the absences of Ibrahim Sangare (hamstring) and Danilo (ankle), with the pair on the comeback trail from medium-term injuries.
Returning from a yellow card suspension of his own, Nicolas Dominguez is likely to join former Newcastle United man Anderson in the engine room, although James Ward-Prowse is another capable option.
Scoring the goal that clinched Forest's fourth straight victory in the Premier League last time out - the first time the club have achieved that feat since 1995 - Anthony Elanga will continue on the right flank, with Morgan Gibbs-White operating centrally.
There could be an alteration to the attacking three behind leading marksman Chris Wood, though, with Jota Silva potentially coming into the XI at the expense of Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Nottingham Forest possible starting lineup: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Williams; Dominguez, Anderson, Elanga, Gibbs-White, Silva; Wood
