Nottingham Forest recorded an impressive 3-1 victory over Premier League opposition with a win against Aston Villa.
A late flurry of goals began when Lewis McGugan scored for Forest on 71 minutes before Barry Bannan replied almost instantly for Villa with a smartly-taken free-kick.
Marcus Tudgay gave Forest the lead ten minutes from time before McGugan made the game safe with his second goal on 85 minutes.
Forest manager Sean O'Driscoll will be pleased to give his supporters a morale boosting win as they continue to build for their Championship campaign.
