Dexter Blackstock has signed a new four-and-a-half-year contract extension at Championship club Nottingham Forest.
The 26-year-old striker, who has scored seven goals this season, had recently been linked with a move to local rivals Derby County.
Forest owner Fawaz AL Hasawi tweeted: "I'm delighted to announce Dexter Blackstock is to remain part of our family for another four and a half years."
Blackstock's new terms will see him stay at the City Ground until 2017.
