Nottingham Forest defender Danny Fox has signed a one-year contract extension which will keep him at the City Ground until the summer of 2018.
The 30-year-old signed a three-year deal when he joined from Southampton in 2014 following a successful loan spell in the East Midlands.
Fox had limited opportunities under Dougie Freedman last season, making only four appearances before April, but was recalled to the side by caretaker boss Paul Williams and played in the last seven matches of the campaign.
The former Walsall, Coventry City, Celtic, Burnley and Saints man has since played a part in almost every Forest game in pre-season under new head coach Philippe Montanier.
