East Midlands rivals Nottingham Forest and Derby County are reportedly both interested in signing Blackburn Rovers striker Jordan Rhodes.
The 25-year-old has scored 19 goals in 47 matches this season, which is said to have attracted the attention of a host of Championship clubs, including Middlesbrough and Norwich City.
Blackburn are thought to be keen to keep hold of the striker, but they may struggle to retain his services should a big offer come in.
Forest boss Dougie Freedman is keen to bring Rhodes to the City Ground, according to the Daily Mail.
However, the paper adds that promotion-chasing Derby are also hopeful of signing the Scotland international after identifying him as a player who can bolster their attacking options.
Rhodes has scored 71 league goals in 132 appearances for Blackburn since joining them from Ipswich Town for £8m in 2012.
