Nottingham Forest have added to their squad with the signing of Sam Byram on loan from West Ham United for the rest of the 2018-19 season.
The 24-year-old has previous experience of the Championship, having represented Leeds United a total of 130 times prior to joining West Ham in January 2016.
Byram has featured in the Premier League and Europa League during his time in East London, but he struggled for regular football last season and has now been sent out on loan for the next nine months.
Forest had hoped to get a deal over the line for the Englishman on Thursday, but were instead made to wait more than 24 hours before reaching an agreement.
It is unknown whether the Reds have the option to sign Byram on a permanent deal next summer.
