Dutch striker Lars Veldwijk has signed a three-year deal with Nottingham Forest.
Veldwijk leaves Excelsior after scoring 34 goals to help the club earn promotion back to the Eredivisie, and club owner Fawaz Al-Hasawi has encouraged supporters to welcome the 22-year-old to the City Ground.
Al Hawasi tweeted: "I encourage all the fans to make him feel at home in Nottingham. His goalscoring record is very impressive and I hope he continues now he has become a Red."
Veldwick joins Matty Fryatt at Forest as new boss Stuart Pearce looks to revive the club's fortunes in the Championship next season.
