Nottingham Forest have reportedly added Newcastle United's Haris Vuckic to a list of potential targets ahead of the summer transfer window.
The club are still waiting for their transfer embargo to be lifted, but that has not prevented the scouting department from targeting new players, and boss Dougie Freedman is believed to be keen to improve his attacking options.
According to the Daily Mail, Vuckic's nine goals in 14 games while on loan at Rangers has attracted interest from Forest.
Vuckic still has one year remaining on his Newcastle deal, but it appears unlikely that he will be involved in the first team and Forest could offer him the chance to leave.
The Slovenian has made just 19 appearances for Newcastle since arriving from Domzale in 2009.
