Premier League sides Nottingham Forest and West Ham United will reportedly enter the race to sign Flamengo striker Pedro if they are able to preserve their top-tier statuses for next season.
The 25-year-old has impressed for the Brazilian giants since returning to his homeland following a difficult spell at Fiorentina in 2019, scoring 84 times in 174 appearances, including 14 goals in just 15 matches so far this term.
Having been capped for Brazil on four occasions - and appearing twice in last year's World Cup - the former Fluminense man has international pedigree despite enduring an unsuccessful period in Serie A.
According to Football Insider, Nottingham Forest and West Ham are both interested in signing Pedro ahead of the 2023-24 season if they survive relegation.
It is believed that Steve Cooper's men are planning another spending spree in the summer if the club are not relegated to the Championship, with the Brazilian forward attracting the East Midlands club's attention after his goalscoring form of late.
The report adds that David Moyes's Hammers will also attempt to sign the player if they avoid the drop - the East London club are currently three points above the relegation zone in 14th place. body check tags ::
