Lars Veldwijk's proposed transfer to Nottingham Forest has reportedly been put on hold, after the Dutch striker returned home to think over the move.
The 22-year-old has completed a medical in Nottingham and discussed personal terms with the Championship club.
Forest's East Midlands rivals Leicester City are also thought to be interested in the frontman, who scored 30 goals in 38 games in the Dutch second tier last season.
According to the Nottingham Post, Veldwijk has asked for more time to consider his options.
Forest signed striker Matty Fryatt on Monday evening after his contract expired at Hull City.
