Wolverhampton Wanderers moved level on points with Leyton Orient at the summit of League One after earning a hard-fought point in the 3-3 draw with Rotherham United.

Wolves, who had lost their previous two league fixtures, went ahead through Danny Batth after just 10 minutes before in-form Wigan Athletic loanee Nouha Dicko struck an immediate riposte for Steve Evans's men shortly after.

The Millers secured a 2-1 half-time lead through Kieran Agard, before Dicko pounced once again nine minutes after the interval to establish daylight in the scoreline.

However, despite trailing by two goals, Kenny Jackett's men rallied and were soon rewarded for their efforts, with Bakary Sako reducing the deficit from the penalty spot, while James Henry completed the comeback midway through the half

The point gained was sufficient in propelling the West Midlands outfit to the top of England's third tier alongside Orient, who slumped to their third defeat of the season after going down 3-2 to Crawley Town at Brisbane Road.

John Gregory sealed his first win as the Reds boss as the visitors were forced to come behind in order to upset the league leaders, with Moses Odubajo firing the hosts in front after 14 minutes.

Russell Slade's men were soon stunned as the visitors overhauled the advantage to boast a 2-1 half-time lead, with former O's favourite Gary Alexander coming back to haunt his old club, before Andy Drury gave Gregory's men the lead moments before the break.

Sam Saunders ended the contest on 73 minutes as Mark Warburton's men go within a point of co-leaders Orient and Wolves at the top of the division.

Simon Grayson's Lilywhites were leapfrogged into fourth by Peterborough United, who registered a slender 2-1 win over Bradford City.

Darren Ferguson's men, who had seen their bid for automatic promotion dented after slumping to five defeats from their last seven fixtures, got their season back on track at London Road, as Kgosi Ntlhe fired the hosts into an 18th-minute lead.

Club record signing Britt Assombalonga added to his 11-goal haul this term by cushioning the advantage soon after.

Andy Gray reduced the deficit 14 minutes from time, but Posh held off the Bantams to collect only their second victory since October.

Meanwhile, Bristol City were denied the opportunity to move off the foot of the League One table after an 89th-minute penalty from Alan Sheehan earned fellow strugglers Notts County a 1-1 draw.

The visitors took the lead through Leon Clarke, only to find their advantage negated, with Yasir Kasim eventually levelling matters on 77 minutes, while Miles Storey proved to be the hero by firing the winner toward the end of normal time.

As a result, Mark Cooper's men move seventh in the table at the expense of Bradford, two points adrift of Rotherham, who currently occupy the final playoff place.
