Notts County manager Ricardo Moniz has said that he is pleased to make use of the international break to allow players to recover from injury.
The Magpies were scheduled to face Crawley Town at Meadow Lane on Saturday, but the game has been postponed due to Roy Carroll, Mawouna Amevor and Rhys Sharpe being away on international duty.
Notts currently have nine squad members struggling with injuries, and Moniz hopes that the week-long break will do them good.
"The free weekend is not helpful for me because it is boring without football," Moniz told the club's official website.
"But it is a good choice for us because we are missing players. We can get players back and when the team is complete you will see what we are capable of."
Notts return to action against Luton Town on September 12.
