Notts County have extended the loan spell of Louis Laing from Nottingham Forest.
The 21-year-old defender initially moved to Meadow Lane on a month-long emergency loan in September.
However, he will now stay with the Magpies until January after impressing manager Shaun Derry.
The centre-back came through the youth ranks at Sunderland, making one substitute appearance for the Black Cats, before joining Forest this summer.
Laing has made seven appearances so far for Notts.
