Aston Villa full-back Enda Stevens has joined Notts County on an emergency 28-day loan.
The 23-year-old, who made nine first-team appearances for Villa last term, could go straight into the Magpies squad for tonight's League Cup trip to Anfield.
"With Alan Sheehan currently injured, Republic of Ireland Under-21 international Stevens will be hoping to make his Notts debut in the Capital One Cup second round match at Liverpool on Tuesday evening, having been given permission to play in the competition by his parent club," County wrote on their website.
Stevens joined Villa from Shamrock Rovers in his native Ireland at the start of 2012.
