Per Nilsson netted a brace as Nuremberg beat Mainz 05 2-1 in the Bundesliga on Sunday afternoon.
The Swedish defender headed home from a Hiroshi Kiyotake free kick to give the hosts the lead on 54 minutes.
Mainz, who dominated possession, deservedly levelled on the hour, when Nicolai Muller found the bottom right corner of Raphael Schafer's net from long range.
However, Nilsson struck again 21 minutes from time to seal a win that sees Nuremberg climb two places to ninth in the table.
