Palermo forward Paulo Dybala has insisted that he has no intention of accepting a call-up to play for Italy at international level.
Recent reports suggested that Antonio Conte was considering selecting Dybala, but the 21-year-old, who has an Italian passport, is keen to play for Argentina.
"My dream is to wear the colours of the national team of my own country, Argentina, and I'll do everything I can to make this happen," the Cordoba-born striker told Radio Belgrano
"I heard about an interest by Conte but nobody ever contacted me officially.
"I could play with [Lionel] Messi in the national team. I'm a number nine, but if necessary I can play in support of another striker."
Dybala has scored 12 goals in 24 Serie A games this season.
