Gennaro Gattuso has been sacked as manager of Serie B side Palermo after three months in charge.
The 35-year-old former Italian international has been replaced by ex-Siena boss Giuseppe Iachini.
Palermo have won two of their opening six matches of the season under Gattuso.
"It is with true and profound sadness that I announce the dismissal of Gennaro Gattuso as coach of the first team," read a statement from president Maurizio Zamparini. "The results have forced us to take this decision."
Gattuso entered football management with Swiss side Sion in February before being dismissed in May.
