Palermo president Maurizio Zamperini has denied that the club will move for River Plate striker David Trezeguet.
The Sicilian outfit are struggling near the foot of the table and in desperate need of a goalscorer.
However, Zamperini believes that - at 35 years of age - the French international is too old.
"Trezeguet is not coming here," Zamparini told Sky Sport Italia.
"There is no attacker over the age of 30 who I have brought to this club."
Trezeguet scored 171 goals in 320 appearances over 11 years for Juventus.
