Palermo president Maurizio Zamparani has encourage Napoli to make a bid for Javier Pastore.
The 22-year-old Argentinian has been linked with a host of top clubs across Europe but has yet to attract an offer close to Zamparini's £44 million asking price.
His comments come as his Napoli counterpart, Aurelio De Laurentiis, said that Marek Hamsik was attracting interest from AC Milan.
"De Laurentiis expects a big offer for Hamsik? He sees it like me as I expect a great offer for Pastore," Zamparini told Italian station Radio Kiss Kiss.
"Pastore for Hamsik? Pastore costs a lot, but if De Laurentiis wants him... I will see him tomorrow and maybe we can talk."
