An Ouasim Bouy free kick just before half time earns PEC Zwolle all three points in a 1-0 win against Willem II at the IJsseldelta Stadion.
Lars Veldwijk wasted a good opportunity after Sheraldo Becker played the ball to the striker inside the box but the Dutchman hit his close-range effort straight at the Kostas Lamprou.
Zwolle then took the lead through Bouy, whose free kick took a deflection off the Willem wall to wrong-foot the goalkeeper and fly into the back of the net.
Veldwijk came close again at the start of the second half but his effort was saved well by Lamprou before Becker saw his long-range effort also stopped by the Greek goalkeeper.
Willem saw two Nick van der Velden attempts go wide before Funso Ojo had his attempt in added time saved well by Mickey van der Hart.
The victory moves Zwolle into third in the Eredivisie while Willem II remain 13th on eight points.
