Peterborough United chairman Darragh MacAnthony has revealed that the club are close to naming their new manager.
The Posh have been without a boss since sacking Dave Robertson earlier this month.
A run of four games without a win cost the 41-year-old his job, with Grant McCann taking over on an interim basis for the past fortnight.
While MacAnthony has whittled down the managerial shortlist to two names, the Peterborough chief - speaking on social media platform Periscope - admitted that an appointment will not be made prior to this weekend's visit of Walsall.
Rotherham United boss Steve Evans is many bookies' favourite to take up the position at London Road, despite distancing himself from the vacant job.
