Peterborough United defender Tommy Rowe may have to put back his return from a collarbone injury picked up in pre-season.
The 23-year-old suffered the injury in July and was expected to make a return in October, but it is expected that his recovery will take longer.
Rowe told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "If it's good news that it's healed well, I might be able to start training in a couple of weeks, maybe three.
"After that, we'd see how it goes in non-contact football."
Rowe was Peterborough's player of the year last season.
