Poland's Robert Lewandowksi has paid tribute to Republic of Ireland captain Robbie Keane ahead of Tuesday's friendly between the teams.
Keane, who is Ireland's record goalscorer, heads into the match in Poznan looking to find the net for the 63rd time at international level. Meanwhile, Lewandowksi has scored 18 goals in 56 games for Poland.
"I believe that the statistics are really impressive," BBC Sport quotes the Borussia Dortmund forward as saying.
"Sixty two goals scored for the Irish squad is really an impressive figure. I know that Keane has played for the Irish squad for so many years and we know they are very strong."
Keane scored his first goal for Ireland back in 1998.
