Iker Casillas has revealed that he would be open to finishing his professional career in the MLS, but has vowed to see out the remaining two-and-a-half years on his Porto contract.
The experienced goalkeeper joined Porto in the summer following a 25-year association with Real Madrid, whose first team he represented on more than 700 occasions.
During a Q&A on Facebook, Casillas was asked about a possible move to North America and refused to rule it out.
"I think football has been growing there and that is very good. Why not?" wrote Casillas. "I've signed for three seasons here and I hope to see them through. Porto is a new challenge for me and I hope to live up to the level of this club."
Casillas, 34, has made 15 appearances for Porto thus far this season.
