Pepe has given Portugal a boost by declaring himself fit for tomorrow's Euro 2016 final against France in Paris.
The Real Madrid centre-back did not play a part in the semi-final due to a thigh injury, but watched from the stands as his country sealed a 2-0 win over Wales.
The 33-year-old was pictured training with his teammates this morning, and has now told the media that he is ready to play again.
"In terms of fitness I'm fine," Pepe told reporters. "I trained with the squad today and I'm available for the coach."
Either Bruno Alves or Jose Fonte is likely to make way for Pepe, who has started five of Portugal's six games in the tournament.
