Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has become the record goalscorer in European Championship football after his winner in Friday's 1-0 victory against Armenia.
The goal was his 23rd in the competition, overtaking the 22 scored by Denmark's Jon Dahl Tomasson and Turkey's Hakan Sukur.
It was the 17th time that Ronaldo had found the net during the qualifying stage of the tournament, adding to the six he has scored in the finals.
Portugal's win helped them climb into second in Group I.
