Portugal manager Fernando Santos has claimed that England are capable of going all the way at this summer's European Championships.
The Three Lions are rated as the fourth favourites to lift the trophy, behind only hosts France, world champions Germany and defending champions Spain.
Portugal travel to Wembley to face Roy Hodgson's side in a pre-tournament friendly on Thursday, and Santos believes that they warrant their place among the favourites.
"I've seen England play. They have talented players and they can win in France. England has big ambition. They are one of the favourites," he told reporters.
"They are one of the strongest teams in the world, both with individual quality and teamwork. The manager is very clever and it will be a tough match.
"It is an important game for us as we are representing Portugal. We need to win in France so it is not mandatory to win here, but there will be a fantastic atmosphere at Wembley and it's an important match."
Portugal will take on Estonia on June 8 in their final warm-up game before getting their campaign underway against Iceland on June 14.
