Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Ligue 1 fixtures, including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Toulouse.

PSG vs. Toulouse (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Sunday's Ligue 1 predictions including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Toulouse

Mourning their dreams of Champions League supremacy, Paris Saint-Germain continue their canter towards the Ligue 1 finish line when Toulouse arrive at the Parc des Princes on Sunday.

Les Parisiens have already wrapped up their third-straight title, while their opponents sit comfortably in mid-table and are also enjoying a stress-free cruise to the end of the campaign.

We say: Paris Saint-Germain 3-1 Toulouse

Neither PSG nor Toulouse need over-exert themselves in a match where only pride is on the line, but Enrique's men are still searching for the formula for defensive success at home, while Les Violets have made a habit of shining on the road of late.

Martinez's men are actually the second-best performing Ligue 1 team away from home in 2024 behind PSG, but Nicolaisen's ban is a significant blow, and on this occasion, we have faith in Les Parisiens to finally put some of their chances away en route to a recovery win.

Strasbourg vs. Metz (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Sunday's Ligue 1 predictions including Paris Saint-Germain vs. Toulouse

Metz can take a big step towards avoiding being automatically relegated from Ligue 1 with a victory on Sunday at Stade de la Meinau against Strasbourg.

A 3-1 defeat versus Le Havre has the Alsatian club sitting 13th in the table, while Les Grenats remain in the relegation playoff spot following a 3-2 defeat to Rennes.

We say: Strasbourg 1-0 Metz

Being without Mikautadze is a massive blow to the Metz attack, with the Georgian involved in 72% of their domestic goals in 2024 (13/18), more than anyone in the top five European leagues this year.

Le Racing have been sharp defensively against Metz in this competition, posting three successive clean sheets, and we believe the return of Diarra will add a positive dynamic to their attack and give them a slight edge.

Rennes vs. Lens (Sunday, 8.00pm)

The battle for European spots at the top end of the Ligue 1 table will heat up in the penultimate round of league fixtures on Sunday, as Rennes entertain Lens.

With two games left to play, the visitors currently sit sixth, two points ahead of Lyon and four better off than the hosts thanks to a home win last Friday.

We say: Rennes 1-1 Lens

With both sides coming in with renewed confidence after wins last time out and vying for sixth spot, we anticipate a tight contest on Sunday and see the visitors having enough to leave with a share of the spoils to move out of sight of Rennes in the fight for European spots.

Marseille vs. Lorient (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Marseille will have to pick themselves up from their Europa League semi-final exit when they welcome Lorient to the Stade Velodrome for Sunday's Ligue 1 contest.

The hosts have their work cut out to secure European qualification, while Lorient are at risk of being relegated with a game to spare.

We say: Marseille 3-1 Lorient

Marseille would have been disappointed with Thursday's display in Bergamo, but we think they will produce a positive response to showcase their attacking talent against a Lorient side that has the worst defensive record in the division.

Clermont vs. Lyon (Sunday, 8.00pm)

In the penultimate round of league fixtures this season, Clermont and Lyon will do battle on Sunday in a game of major importance at both ends of the Ligue 1 table.

The hosts are confined to a bottom-three finish and will fight to keep any hopes of a relegation playoff alive, as opposed to an automatic drop, while their visitors trail Lens in the final European spot by two points with six left to fight for.

We say: Clermont 1-3 Lyon

Clermont did produce a crucial victory to keep their survival hopes alive when they met Reims recently, but Les Lanciers saw any momentum halted in another defeat last time out, while Lyon travel with plenty of confidence in fine form, and we see Sage's free-scoring side having too much for their hosts and prevailing on Sunday.

Nantes vs. Lille (Sunday, 8.00pm)

Still scrapping for a top-three Ligue 1 finish, Lille's final away game of the 2023-24 season sees Les Dogues pit their wits against Nantes at the Stade de la Beaujoire on Sunday.

As the visitors do their utmost to enhance their Champions League credentials, Les Canaris are just one win away from ensuring their top-flight status for the 2024-25 campaign.

We say: Nantes 0-2 Lille

Lille's powers of recovery after suffering a defeat have been a cornerstone of their success this season, while Nantes cannot buy a point let alone a win at home and do not strike fear into the hearts of opposing defences.

The hosts' rearguard action against Brest was admirable, and Fonseca's attacking ranks have been decimated over the past week, but the visitors should still find a way through to all but confirm their Champions League status.

Montpellier vs. Monaco (Sunday, 8.00pm)

With just a single point versus Montpellier HSC, Monaco would assure themselves a place in the Champions League group stage next season, as the two sides square off on Sunday at Stade de la Mosson.

La Paillade moved up to 10th in the Ligue 1 table thanks to a 2-1 victory over Toulouse, while Les Monegasques had no trouble with Clermont, winning 4-1.

We say: Montpellier HSC 1-2 Monaco

While Monaco have not been all that stellar defensively, their attacking depth has carried them through this season, scoring the second-most goals in Ligue 1 (62) while being held off the scoresheet in only one away fixture.

For as well as Montpellier have played lately, their lack of discipline in recent outings is a concern, and we believe the visitors will be able to take advantage of that on Sunday.
