Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has praised the fighting spirit of his players after they overturned a one-goal deficit with just 10 men against Marseille away from home.
Les Parisiens went a man down when Thiago Motta was shown red for bringing down Mathieu Valbuena, which allowed Andre Ayew to put the home side ahead after 34 minutes at the Stade Velodrome.
However, a goal from Maxwell and a second-half penalty from Zlatan Ibrahimovic saw the Ligue 1 champions come back to earn the three points that take them level with Monaco at the top of the table.
"Desire was a very important factor this evening, because, given the circumstances, we couldn't have achieved anything without it," Blanc told reporters.
"We showed incredible solidarity. We matched Marseille in our play, even though we had one player less. We always believed we could win this match, even after the sending off.
"At half-time we all thought we could go on and win it. For the coaching staff and the players, it's immensely satisfying."
