Laurent Blanc has insisted that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's critics should not be surprised after he returned to form with a goal in Paris Saint-Germain's 3-0 win over Guingamp.
Injury problems have halted the Swedish striker's progress in the early stages of the campaign and he had failed to find the net after returning to action.
However, Ibrahimovic opened his account for the season on Tuesday night, and Blanc claims that he never had any concerns about the striker's form.
"You have to be patient with him then you'll see that he will score goals. You don't have to be surprised," the PSG boss told reporters.
"He is a great player and he wants to demonstrate it, to confirm it and even to stamp it for the sceptical few."
Blanc's side are back in action against Nantes on Saturday afternoon.
