Paris Saint-Germain coach Laurent Blanc has admitted that his side remain on course to complete a promising first half of the Ligue 1 campaign.
The Parisians moved onto 45 points at the top of the standings with a victory over Nice this weekend, and Blanc has since stated that his side have dealt well with some difficult scheduling this term.
"We couldn't have expected that games in Angers, Nice and Caen would be important matches in December," said Blanc, according to the official Ligue 1 website.
"These teams have had a very good first half to the season. The points picked up, especially away from home, will be all the more important. We have 45 points after a first half of the seaon which was far from to our advantage with 11 away games and eight at home.
"If we manage to increase this points tally in the two games coming up, it will have been a very good first half of the season."
PSG are back in action during the week as they take on Shakhtar Donetsk in the Champions League.
