Paris Saint-Germain captain Christophe Jallet has urged his side to give bitter rivals Marseille "a slapping" in their Ligue 1 clash on Sunday night.
Jallet thinks that the match could be key in the French title race, even at this early stage of the season.
The 28-year-old told reporters at a pre-match press conference that he believes the match at the Stade Velodrome will provide a good acid test of PSG's credentials.
He said: "The win over Lille proved to be a turning point for us.
"Marseille have been in stable form, as well as possessing a physical advantage, but let's hand them a slapping. This match will prove to see how well we can do in the league, and indeed if we can beat anyone."
Fierce rivals PSG and Marseille currently stand in first and second in the Ligue 1 table, with Elie Baup's side holding a three-point advantage over Carlo Ancelotti's men going into the match.
