Paris Saint-Germain sporting director Leonardo has said that he understands the criticism aimed at the club.
The Brazilian, whose side are behind Montpellier HSC in the Ligue 1 standings, insists that French football is "a bit against" the big-spending Parisian outfit, despite the fact that his club are the ones fighting from behind.
"I think it is normal that people want Montpellier to win," he told RMC.
"France is a bit against us. But that is normal, I understand. We are [not] perfect. The criticism is normal.
"As I said before, there is a certain contradiction because after our bad start, we are fighting for the title."
Meanwhile, Carlo Ancelotti's side make the trip to Auxerre this weekend.
