Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that sporting director Leonardo will leave the club at the end of the summer.
The 43-year-old former Brazilian international joined the French champions in 2011.
"We regret his choice but respect his decision," read a statement on PSG's official website. "We thank him greatly for his important contributions towards the project of building a top European club in Paris and wish him all the best for his future career choice."
During his tenure with Les Parisiens, Leonardo oversaw the signings of such players as Javier Pastore, Thiago Motta, Lucas Moura and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
