Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Lucas Moura has described new teammate David Beckham as an "icon".
Beckham signed a short-term deal with the Ligue 1 club on transfer deadline day having been without a club since leaving LA Galaxy late last year.
Moura believes that the signing of Beckham will prove beneficial for the French side both on and off the pitch, and said that playing alongside the former England captain would be an honour.
"Beckham is a football icon, a star, both on and off the pitch," the 20-year-old told Globo Esporte.
"Our team will gain a lot, they will gain visibility. His quality will add a lot. It will be an honor to play alongside him."
Beckham has announced that all of his wages from his five-month stint at the club will be donated to chairty.
